Credentials and Affiliations
Kevin earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration & Accounting from California State University, San Bernardino, in 1982 and his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of California, Hastings College of Law in 1988. He is a member of the Colorado State Bar, the Trust and Estates Section of the Colorado Bar Association, the El Paso County Bar Association and the State Bar of California (inactive). He is a member of Wealth Counsel, a nationwide organization of estate and business planning attorneys, and a member of the Wealth Counsel Advisors Forum, a collaborative nationwide association of legal, financial, insurance, banking and accounting professionals dedicated to optimizing service to clients. Kevin is also a member of the Colorado Springs Branch of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA). He is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) in both Colorado and California. In 2006, Kevin retired, after 24 years of active-duty and reserve service, as a Lieutenant Colonel from the United States Air Force Reserves where he served as a member of the Judge Advocate General's Corps. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region.
