Credentials and Affiliations
I have been a practicing CPA in Colorado since 1962, first with a national CPA office and then with my own private practice since 1974. I have a Business Administration Degree in Accounting and numerous hours of graduate level course work. I attend a mandatory 40 hours of class time each year (since 1974) to maintain certification in the State of Colorado. Most of these classes involve changes in the tax law and accounting. I am a member in good standing with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants, where I have served on the state Taxation Committee. I am also a past member of the Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce where I served on the Environmental and Congressional Committees.
